Frequently Asked Questions:

faq-title
Below you will find a list of the most common questions and answers that our customer service team have already encountered. If you still have additional questions or need more assistance, please go to our contact us page and submit your question to us.

What type of water should I use?

faq1
You should only use distilled water. Reverse Osmosis, Rain water, tap water, etc… will not work. As with our electrolyte solution, our generators have strict requirements. This is so you do not damage your unit and to insure that you get the optimal hydrogen gas production. You can buy distilled water at your local grocery store for about .89 cents a gallon.

Will this void my vehicles warranty?

Absolutely Not!

Conditions that void a vehicle's warranty are specified in a federal law called "the

faq2
Moss-Magnusson Act" which stipulates that dealers cannot void a warranty because a vehicle has aftermarket parts.

If a dealer could prove that a particular aftermarket part caused a particular failure, then they could disallow the claim for that issue only.

For example, if your engine were to fail, the dealer could not refuse to fix it because the vehicle has aftermarket wheels. However, if your engine had been modified, then, they may have a case and may try to deny the claim. We don't modify engines in any way.

If I need help, do you have a tech support department?

Yes we do! We have one of the best tech support teams in the industry. We have 3 full time tech support reps to assist you Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4 pm Pacific time.

faq3
We can help you with your installation questions, or if you need help getting your system dialed in properly.

When you call our tech support team you will speak with a live person who has vast experience in dealing with Hydrogen technology.

Most hydrogen companies do not offer live tech support to you, your choices are email only, or leave a number and they will get back to you. (usually, when they get home from their regular jobs)

Do I need to use an E.F.I.E. or Pulse Width with your system?

No you do not! E.F.I.E's are a mess to work with. They are expensive, difficult to install, and feels like you need an electrical degree to get them dialed in properly, and even then they only work some of the time.

faq4
Other companies might tell you on their websites that they are needed, and on their systems they might be, but not ours.

Our detailed instruction manual will show you how to simply and easily reset your vehicles O’2 sensors to a cleared setting, and then reprogram them to accept your hydrogen generator. No special tools or computer chips are needed, and you can do it yourself.

(complete details are included in our instruction manual)

Will this work on an Electronic Fuel Injected or a Carburetor Engine?

Of course!

faq5
Our systems are designed to work on all Fuel Injected and Carbureted engines.

Our systems will work on all engine types; Gasoline, Diesel, Fuel Injected, or Carbureted engines.

They work on 1 Liter engines all the way up to the largest Big Rig Semi engine.

Can I run my vehicle on hydrogen only? No gasoline?

faq6
No, not at this time.

Our hydrogen systems are designed to assist your gasoline, not to replace it completely.

Our R&D department are constantly working on bringing you this technology, but are not quite there yet. Hopefully soon…

Can I install the system myself, or do I need a mechanic?

faq7
We've designed our Hydrogen on Demand system to be easy to install.

We include our 24 page full color, easy to follow instruction manual with every unit. The installation process should take you about 2 to 3 hours from start to finish.

If you run into any problems, you can simply call our full time installation support line and we will be happy to assist you.

What kind of Mileage Increase can I expect?

faq8
Our average increase is around 45% and some people enjoy up to 60% and more, depending on your vehicle and driving habits. This includes both city and highway driving conditions.

Every situation is different, so this is an estimate only.

Is using hydrogen in my vehicle dangerous?

It CAN be Very dangerous… If you do stupid things!

Just like anything else, there are safety rules that you want to follow, and they are quite simple.

faq9
For example, we all know that the radiator is essential in cooling down the engine, and without it the car will overheat and go up in smoke. However, if you open the radiator cap when hot, you could get hurt, isn't that right?

The danger is not in the radiator; the danger is in carelessness and not following the safety rules.

Hydrogen-On-Demand means that we are not storing any Hydrogen! We're using all the Hydrogen that we're producing, immediately. There are no Hydrogen storage tanks to explode in case of an accident.

Hydrogen is also less flammable than gasoline. Gasoline can burst into flames at 442 degrees Fahrenheit, hydrogen won't ignite until 1,022 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s far better for the environment, and perfectly safe for you and your passengers

I’ve heard that I will need to change my vehicles 0’2 sensors, is that true?

No, you will not!

faq11

It is true that the vehicles O’2 sensors do control your vehicles fuel management delivery system, but a simple reboot and reprogram will fix that.

Our detailed instruction manual will show you how to simply and easily reset your vehicles O’2 sensors to a cleared setting, and then reprogram them to accept your hydrogen generator. No special tools or computer chips are needed, and you can do it yourself.

(complete details are included in our instruction manual)

Will this work in very cold climate conditions?

faq12
Yes... Our Hydrogen on Demand System are designed to operate in almost all weather conditions, and has a very low freezing point down to about 15 below zero, (F).

If you live in a climate where is gets colder than 15 below zero, you can also wrap the system in an insulated pipe wrap for extra freeze protection.

What is the difference between the Hybrid Cell and the Dry Cell ?
Which one should I use in my Vehicle ?

which-unit

That's a great question, we get asked that alot!   Both our Hybrid cell and our Dry cell models are the latest technology available with a few unique differences in design.

The main differences in the design between or "Hybrid" and "Dry" Cell models are in the construction, and the way water passes through the cell. The dry cell uses our proprietary gasket ,and aqueous transfer system, to keep things running cool. Our Hybrid cell uses a similar technology, but the plates are submerged in a partial water bath. Both are a very efficient processe, and produce the same high quality Hydrogen gas, however the dry cell produces a slightly higher volume.

With our new Dry cell design we have addressed and fixed many of the problem issues that other companies have had with the design. We have addressed the leaking gasket issue with our proprietary gasket material. We have also addressed the concern of inconsistent operation and thermal runaway using our new technology plate configuration.

Our "Dry" cells also have larger plates than our "Hybrid" models giving them an increased plate surface area so that they have the ability to be more effective in producing larger amounts of HHO gas.

Both models still use the same process of electrolysis, but the efficiency has been boosted on the "Dry" cell giving it more output, and the ability to run at lower temperatures than the "Hybrid" cell which keeps the cell from overheating when operated at very long time frames, such as on a long haul truck application.

That being said about our "Dry" cell design, let me explain a little about our "Hybrid" model.

In no way is our "Hybrid" cell an inferior product to any HHO system on the market today, just the opposite. We have researched and tested different hho systems and have taken what we considered to be the best features from each system and have created the " Hybrid " cell.

We would put our "Hybrid" cell to the test against any comparable system on the market. At the price point that we are offering our "Hybrid" complete kit it is hands down the best product and value available for your dollar today.

The good news is that both of our models are excellent systems that require very little maintenance, other than keeping fresh water in them.

The only decision you need to make now is which of our two designs is right for you. If your still not sure, that's o.k. give us a call, we have people standing by now ready to take your calls and answer your questions. call us at (928) 775-8611
